Well it's exciting up here in the wilds because it is a short week and I am looking forward to not having to work half the week. The kids only go to school on Monday and Tuesday and I am heading to Des Moines to visit the family sometime after that. I will be spending time with the folks at church on Sunday morning as well and I can't wait!
School semester 1 is about to finish and I am ready to start semester 2 come next January. I think the semester ends on December 10th. It sure is different to have a whole month off school. High school had like 2 weeks and that was cool but this is awesome! Hopefully I will find somewhere to work this winter break up here to earn some dough. That would be nice. I may end up working at someplace like wal-mart but that's alright and it's a seasonal help thing.
Anyway, not much to update on but I wanted to post something since it's been a little while. Amy came to visit me this weekend and she enjoyed making cookies for me. She has fallen in love with my KitchenAid mixer. On Saturday we headed to the cities for the day and tried to find some good hobby shops. We went to 8 and 6 were out of business. Google maps sucks. We didn't find any that were really great which is unfortunate but it made for a fun day anyway.
